HEALTH GUARENTEE/CONTRACT A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy until it is of age to ship. I accept personal checks, cash and major credit cards via Paypal.com (3% fee added for paypal). There will be a $25. fee for any returned non sufficient fund checks.  If shipping the puppy, payment balance is due at 5 weeks of age. The puppy will not ship or be delivered until verification that the check has cleared. Cash only for final payment upon pickup. Puppy comes with a limited 1 year replacement health guarantee; to qualify for the guarantee you must be the original purchaser and have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within (72) hours of purchase/possession at the buyer's expense. If the puppy is found to be in unacceptable health during the veterinarian examination, it may be returned to us at buyer's expense with a written assessment from the examining veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy is unhealthy. The puppy must be returned alive, uninjured and have all original AKC papers, photo album and blanky. Then we will replace the puppy with a puppy of the same value when one is available. The guarantee only covers the puppy; we do not cover and are not responsible for associated costs such as, but not limited to, vaccinations, veterinarian fees, animal clinic fees, medications, surgeries, shipping, personal damages, and emotional grief. We do not guarantee color, adult size/weight, conformation, reproductive ability, testicles descending, potty training, erect ears or temperament. The guarantee does not cover common conditions such as, but not limited to improper bite, retaining of puppy teeth, thin coat, hernias of any kind, trachea problems, hypoglycemia, internal and external parasites, luxating patella (loose knee caps), minor physical flaws, loose stools, coccidian (intestinal parasite), giardia (gastrointestinal parasite) kennel cough or any other condition that can be corrected by veterinarian treatment. This puppy is guaranteed for 6 months of life against life threatening hereditary conditions. This guarantee is for replacement only. If the puppy develops a life threatening hereditary condition and you decide to keep the puppy, we are not responsible for the treatment or care of the puppy. If a hereditary condition causes death to the puppy, an autopsy must be performed for verification at the buyer's expense. The guarantee is void if any shots, worming or any other medication is given to the puppy within it’s first 72 hours. Injuries that occur after ownership has transferred are the sole responsibilities of the new owner, i.e., if the puppy is hit, dropped, kicked, stepped on, sat on, mauled by another animal which results in any physical problems such as seizures, injured joints, broken bones, death, etc. We are not responsible for damages, physical or emotional, to the buyer’s self or possessions and likewise to others. We are not responsible for medical expenses, landlord’s disapproval, allergies, or family disagreements. We are not responsible for illnesses occurring due to feeding poor quality of food or table scraps, this would include heart problems.  If you should ever no longer be able to care for this puppy, please contact me so I can help you place him/her in a new home.
